For two years, Amazon hosted on its platform the film “Killing Europe,” which focused on the dangers of mass immigration to Europe by Muslims but not anymore. According to the film’s director, Michael Hansen, Amazon cited “customer content quality expectations” but has not responded to repeated requests for details on what specific content triggered the film’s removal. “What I fear is that here in the U.S. you’re starting to see the beginnings of the same thing,” Hanson said. “If you’re conservative nowadays, you gotta run a gauntlet between these armed thugs. If you’re not careful here in the United States, you’re going to lose that public space. It’s happening rapidly.” Read more…

Amazon removed a documentary from its Prime Video service on the subject of Islam and mass immigration in Europe, citing “quality assurance” concerns.
The film by Michael Hansen, “Killing Europe,” had been hosted on the platform since 2017 without issue, reported Breitbart News.
The censorship came shortly after Breitbart did a story about another Hansen documentary, “Killing Free Speech,” which addresses the rise of Antifa and Big Tech censorship in the United States.
U.S. District Judge Kristine Baker issued a 159-page order blocking Arkansas from enforcing its new pro-life legislation, arguing that it would likely force the state’s only surgical abortion clinic to close. Among the provisions are measures prohibiting abortions after 18 weeks of pregnancy, abortions due to a Down syndrome diagnosis, and also requiring that doctors performing abortions be board certified or board eligible in obstetrics and gynecology. The lawsuit was originally brought by the American Civil Liberties Union, which commented that it is “determined to see them blocked for good.” Read more…

The laws are being challenged by Little Rock Family Planning Services, the state’s only surgical abortion clinic, and Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood only offers medication-induced abortions at its Arkansas facilities. Planned Parenthood earlier this month stopped providing medication-induced abortions at its Fayetteville facility while it looks for a new location, but is still providing the procedure at its Little Rock center.
The challenge was filed on behalf of the plaintiffs by ACLU of Arkansas. Its spokeswoman, Holly Dickson, said ACLU attorneys were poring over the order and will have a statement later Wednesday. For now, “We are so relieved that these bans and restrictions have been temporarily blocked from taking effect. And we are determined to see them blocked for good,” she said.
A message left with a spokeswoman for the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office was not immediately returned early Wednesday.
Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) clearly thinks taxpayers should foot the bill for illegal aliens’ abortions.”No one should fear receiving medical care because they are undocumented. We must ensure that all people in our country have access to reproductive health care,” Omar tweeted Monday. Her political pandering disregards the fact that the Hyde Amendment prohibits federal funding for most abortions regardless of legal status, and Islam decidedly does not allow abortion. Read more…

Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar believes illegal immigrants should have taxpayer-funded abortions.
“No one should fear receiving medical care because they are undocumented. We must ensure that all people in our country have access to reproductive health care,” Omar wrote in a Monday night tweet.

Omar has taken hard-line positions on abortion before. Following President Donald Trump’s impassioned plea to end late-term abortion in his February State of the Union address, Omar tweeted: “If Trump thinks pivoting from his failed vanity wall to policing women’s bodies and choices is going to help his 2020 chances he has another thing [sic] coming.”
Elizabeth Warren joined her fellow trans-pandering candidates declaring that she does, in fact, prefer to be referred to as “She/Her” as opposed to “He/Him.” “Elizabeth is committed to running an inclusive campaign and wants every person to know that they are welcome in this movement,” a Warren 2020 campaign spokesperson told NBC News. New York Mayor Bill de Blasio and Julio Castro had already affirmed that they would like to be referred to with masculine pronouns, with Castro offering the diversity double whammy by including his prefs in Spanish. Sen. Elizabeth Warren recently became the latest 2020 presidential candidate to publicly list the pronouns by which she likes to be addressed.
According to their Twitter bios, the Massachusetts Democrat joined both New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, whose preferred pronouns are “He/Him,” and former Housing Secretary Julián Castro, whose pronouns of choice are also “He/Him,” though he also gives “Él” for any Spanish-speaking followers.
“Elizabeth is committed to running an inclusive campaign, and wants every person to know that they are welcome in this movement,” a campaign spokesperson for Warren told NBC News.
When it comes to examining the immigration crisis dominating the news cycle, Americans must question why there was no public outrage — or widespread media coverage — when the Obama administration deported 3 million illegal immigrants.
It’s not long ago that the former Democratic administration conducted ICE raids, instilling fear in the immigrant community, yet few, if anyone, accused President Obama or Vice President Joe Biden of being inhumane. Nor did Democrats compare U.S. detention centers that are temporarily housing illegal immigrants while their claims are being processed to Nazi concentration camps.
Liberal lawmakers and their supporters didn’t accuse Obama or members of his administration of being racists for upholding the rule of law. Nor did the left call fellow Democrats Nazis, despite hundreds of border deaths on Obama’s watch. “During Obama’s two-term presidency, from 2008 to 2016, border deaths ranged from 251 to 471 each year,” reports American Military News.
Add to it the mishandling of many unaccompanied children while in U.S. custody during the Obama/Biden years and images of migrants sleeping on the floor in controversial detention centers Democrats are now calling “cages.”
But that’s not all. In 2016, the Washington Post reported, “The Obama administration failed to protect thousands of Central American children who have flooded across the U.S. border since 2011, leaving them vulnerable to traffickers and to abuses at the hands of government-approved caretakers, a Senate investigation has found.”
Now contrast that to what’s happening today.
If you turn on any TV channel or examine mainstream media’s coverage of the immigration crisis at the southern border, you’ll see the left is up in arms over the Trump administration’s handling of the crisis, including its deportation raids that are targeting approximately 2,000 families whose immigration cases have been fully adjudicated. Instead of applauding the president for upholding the rule of law — laws that Democratic members of Congress had a hand in crafting — the left is trying to paint the president and his administration as inhumane “white nationalists” who heartlessly break up poor immigrant families.
Never mind that the Obama administration did the same thing — as did prior administrations, going back decades.
What clear-eyed voters see is politics at play, a dual system chock-full of faux “outrage” when it comes to the plight of migrants — depending on which party is in power.
When Republicans uphold the rule of law, they’re quickly painted by the left as “racists,” “fascists” or “Nazis,” but when a Democratic administration deports millions of illegals from similar places of origin, it gets a pass.
Add to it that Barack Obama, Joe Biden and other members of the administration weren’t personally attacked like the Trump administration is every single day, nor were their reputations maligned. To the contrary, they were by and large commended for respecting the rule of law when it came to immigration.
Here’s the deal. In 2015, immigrant advocacy groups including the American Civil Liberties Union of Arizona filed a class action lawsuit against the Obama administration for the appalling treatment of illegal immigrants being housed in Customs and Border Protection detention centers. The suit alleges that migrants in U.S. custody were “deprived of beds, bedding, and sleep; denied adequate food, water, medicine and medical care, and basic sanitation and hygiene items such as soap, sufficient toilet paper, sanitary napkins, diapers, and showers.”
If you’re just learning about this years later, there’s a reason: Virtually zero media covered it at the time.
That tells you all you need to know.

Facebook has it out for St. Augustine, labeling a quote of his-included in the Roman Catholic Church’s official liturgical books-as “hate speech.” It’s worth noting that Facebook defines hate speech as “a direct attack on people.” Yet, the quote’s only possible “hate” rhetoric is that it calls out sin. Facebook has repeatedly blocked the quote and even threatened to remove user accounts for posting it. “Let us never assume that if we live good lives we will be without sin; our lives should be praised only when we continue to beg for pardon.” Read more…

Facebook has labeled a quote by St. Augustine as hate speech, according to the director of a pro-life group.
“Facebook has repeatedly banned a quote from St. Augustine every time I’ve posted it. And it’s not some fire and brimstone ‘Sinners are going to hell!’ quote, but in fact, quite the opposite,” wrote Domenico Bettinelli, director of community engagement for Massachusetts Citizens for Life, in a blog post.
PJ Media reported the quote came from a St. Augustine homily included in the Roman Catholic Church’s official liturgical books.
An internal coup of sorts is playing out at Planned Parenthood, with the organization’s board holding a “secret meeting” to remove Dr. Leana Wen as its president just eight months after unanimously hiring her. According to a statement released by Wen, at the heart of the matter seems to be differences over framing abortion as a political issue as opposed to one of healthcare: “I believe that the best way to protect abortion care is to be clear that it is not a political issue but a healthcare one, and that we can expand support for reproductive rights by finding common ground with the large majority of Americans who understand reproductive healthcare as the fundamental healthcare that it is.” Read more…

Planned Parenthood removed its president from the organization on Tuesday after less than a year on the job.
Dr. Leana Wen announced her departure on Twitter, characterizing the decision as being made by the board during a “secret meeting.”
“We were engaged in good faith negotiations about my departure based on philosophical differences over the direction and future of Planned Parenthood,” she said.

Wen said in a statement that she had taken on the role at Planned Parenthood to advocate for a “broad range of policies that affect our patients’ health.” The statement she provided suggested that Planned Parenthood preferred to frame abortion as a political issue rather than a healthcare issue.
The Trump administration announced Monday that the “Protect Life Rule,” prohibiting family planning clinics from referring women to abortion providers if they receive Title X grants, will be effective immediately. According to a report by the Washington Examiner, about $260 million in grants to “family planning clinics” are subject to the new rules, which also include a stipulation that these clinics cannot share facilities with abortion providers. In other words, President Trump just slashed Planned Parenthood’s taxpayer-funded slush fund. Read more…

The Trump administration announced Monday that family planning clinics are prohibited from referring women to abortion providers if they receive Title X family planning grants.
The Trump administration’s “Protect Life Rule,” which many abortion rights advocates call a “gag rule,” will prohibit recipients of the grant from directly referring for abortions. The rule applies to some Planned Parenthood clinics.
The anti-abortion group Susan B. Anthony List praised the Trump administration Monday, saying, “Without reducing Title X funding by a dime, the Protect Life Rule simply draws a bright line between abortion and family planning, stopping abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood from treating Title X as their private slush fund.”
Left wing activist actress Alyssa Milano has moved on from virtue-signaling in favor of late-term abortion to comparing Vice President Mike Pence to Heinrich Himmler, the main architect of the Holocaust. Through Twitter she offered up side-by-side images of Himmler at a POW camp during WWII and Mike Pence at an immigration detention center to press her propaganda. Conservatives were quick to blast her for her silence during the Obama days, while others offered up a similar comparison between Planned Parenthood’s president and Nazi eugenicist Josef Mengele. Fresh off of the apparent failure of her pro-abortion sex strike, former child actress Alyssa Milano has sought to remain relevant in today’s political climate by tweeting an image comparing Vice President Mike Pence to Heinrich Himmler, a powerful leader in the German Nazi Party and a main architect of the Holocaust. The image features side by side images of Himmler at POW camp during World War II, and Mike Pence at an immigrant detention center in Texas during his visit last week.

While her tweet has been “liked” over 10,000 times, and “retweeted” over 4,500 times, the response Milano received for her absurd tweet appears to be mostly negative.
